What We Do
The Latino Provider Association aims to support Latino providers, patients, and their communities.
Members who are part of our network will be able to share information, support referrals for Latino providers/patients, and participate in shared initiatives.
Our Vission
In ten years, the LPA will have thousands of Latino providers who will transform health care. Latinos will have greater access to health care where they live and work. Traditional healthcare practices will be honored and reimbursable. The healthcare workforce will have sufficient providers who specialize in bi-lingual, bi-cultural care in all disciplines.
“We believe that the LPA will bridge the culturally specific needs of our community and the limitations of the current health system.”
What We’ve Achieved
Convening a coalition of Latino Providers around the state for our inaugural membership assembly.
Establishing a Latino Provider Referral network of culturally and linguistically specific services.
Created a support group for Latino Providers to encourage professional development
Grown our membership to a network of over 100 providers.
Supported Latino professionals in pursuing higher education through Mental, Behavioral, Dental, Physical, and Peer-Delivered Health Services.
Advocated for patients to overcome inequities.
